LIU Yuxi (772-842), Getting in a Dream by literary name, a native of Luoyang, Henan Province. The poet, a minister, litterateur and philosopher in the Tang dynasty, has been acclaimed as an Unconstrained Poet. With his wide interest reflected in the subject matter of his writing, Liu excelled in both poetry and prose. Liu Yuxi and Liu Zongyuan were known as Liu-Liu.
