2、give back 归还，退还
give back （to ...）归还（给...）
give sth. back = return sth.
You have to give back the books in 3 days.
= You have to return the books in 3 days.
你必须在3天之后归还这些书。
I dont want to accept the gift, and Im going to give it back to Jessie.
我不想接受这个礼物，我打算把它归还给杰西。
We will give back your money if you dont like it.
如果不喜欢，我们可以把钱退还给你。
3、give out 分发，散发
同义短语：hand out
反义短语：hand in上交，提交
Tracy helps the teacher hand/give out the papers.
Tracy 帮助老师发试卷。
Hand in your homework,please!
请把作业交上来。
4、give away 捐赠，赠送
More and more people give away books to the schools in the countryside.
越来越多的人们给乡村学校捐书。
He wants to give away all his toys.
他想要把他的玩具都捐了。
与give away 常放一起考的短语是put away收好，放好
Put away you toys, Tom.
汤姆，把玩具收好。
5、give up 放弃，投降
Never give up!
永不言弃！
I dont want to give up. I will try my best.
